We are very excited that Kevin Tiernan is one of our 30×30: 1989-90 exhibition artists.

Some words from the artist:

“Kevin Tiernan is a designer and illustrator based out of New Haven, CT. He’s worked in advertising as an art director and creative lead on campaigns for national brands. As a kid, his notebooks were covered with doodles of characters from pop culture, something that’s still true today. Passionate about movie posters, Kevin started creating fan art as a hobby and gained experience designing official art over the years. Where you’ve seen his posters: Nerdist, io9, DeviantArt, SyFy, Spider-Man: Far From Home, Sony Pictures, VoyageLA, Creative Bloq, and Movies.com. Kevin is inspired by things like hand lettering, vintage posters, and hiking trails. He enjoys playing guitar, collecting records, comics, questing for the best burritos, and hanging out with his five dogs. You can typically find him with a cup of coffee nearby. “
