Maria is one of our 30×30: 1988 exhibition artists, and in this series of showcases we aim to show and tell you a little more about the artist, their work and why they chose the film they will be creating work for. Also WIP from their 1988 piece and details on how you can grab one of these for yourself.
Cinema Paradiso (1988)
Film Synopsis
A filmmaker recalls his childhood when falling in love with the pictures at the cinema of his home village and forms a deep friendship with the cinema’s projectionist.
About the Artist
Maria Suarez Inclan is a graphic designer and freelance illustrator based in London.
Graduated in Graphic Design in UCM (Universidad Complutense de Madrid).
Mostly inspired by films and everything related by it, dogs, 60’s music, 50’s publicity and Franco-Belgian comic books.
